Reducing Uncertainty in Nordic-West African Trade

CorriVeri is an audit and trade intelligence platform between Nordic countries and West Africa, born from direct lived experience rather than market research.

Why CorriVeri Exists

I spent years navigating between two worlds, West Africa and the Nordic countries, building projects that constantly crossed this commercial border. Every time, the same problem recurred: public statistics tell you everything about volumes and tariffs, but nothing about what actually blocks a container at a port, or the reliability of a partner you've never met.

How It Was Born

The idea didn't come from a conference room. It came from a concrete deal, a container of frozen fish, between Morocco and Benin. What cost time and money on that deal was never the information found on Eurostat or customs portals—it was the absence of someone capable of stating, before committing, what actually happens on that specific corridor.

Upon settling in Finland, I took a course at Aalto University Business School, International Business in the Era of Disruption, to understand concretely how business works here—its codes, expectations, and negotiation culture. This dual perspective—West African field experience on one side, Nordic structures on the other—became the foundation of CorriVeri.

I began documenting what I already knew through experience, then structuring that knowledge into verifiable sheets with a simple rule: never display data without explicitly stating where it comes from and how reliable it is.

What CorriVeri Is Today

The goal remains simple: to enable a Nordic or West African company to evaluate a trade corridor with the same clarity it would evaluate any business decision, without operating blindly.

Zero Speculation

Every piece of data indicates its proof level—lived directly, commercially negotiated, or publicly aggregated.

Rigor & Transparency

No institutional affiliation is claimed without actually being held.

Operational Due Diligence

Every assessment examines real logistical risks before any contractual commitment.

Growing, One Corridor at a Time

CorriVeri is currently documenting its first corridor, Morocco-Benin, in depth before methodically expanding to other trade routes.
